Privacy Policy

This policy explains what information Larity collects, why we use it, and the choices available to you when you use our prompt-evaluation service.

Effective June 22, 2026

Information we collect

  • Account information, including your email address, username, and password credentials.
  • Content you provide, including projects, prompts, datasets, validation data, evaluation settings, and other workspace content.
  • Generated outputs, evaluation results, scores, and iteration history.
  • Your OpenRouter API key. It is stored in encrypted form and is never returned to the browser after you save it.
  • Session, CSRF, request, device, and infrastructure log data needed to authenticate users, operate the service, and investigate errors or abuse.

How we use information

We use this information to provide and secure Larity, run prompt evaluations, store your work and results, send transactional account emails, troubleshoot problems, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations. We do not sell your personal information.

AI processing and service providers

When you run an evaluation, Larity sends the relevant prompt, dataset input, output schema, and—when required by an evaluation—validation context to OpenRouter using your API key. OpenRouter may route that material to the model provider you select. Their handling of that material is governed by their own terms and privacy practices. Do not submit sensitive or confidential information unless you are authorized to do so and have reviewed the providers involved.

We also share information as needed with providers that support hosting, databases, email delivery (Maileroo), security, and other core operations, or when required by law, safety, or a business transfer. These providers receive only the information needed for their role.

Cookies

Larity uses essential session and CSRF cookies to keep you signed in and protect requests. We store your theme preference with your account and in a browser cookie so pages render with the correct theme immediately. Larity does not currently use advertising cookies.

Retention and deletion

We retain account and workspace information while your account is active and as reasonably needed to operate and secure the service, resolve disputes, and meet legal obligations. You can delete individual projects, remove your OpenRouter key, or delete your account from Larity. Account deletion removes account-owned workspace data from active systems; limited copies may remain temporarily in backups or where retention is legally required.

Your choices and rights

You may update certain account information in Larity and may ask to access, correct, or delete personal information associated with your account. Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy rights. Contact us using the address below; we may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Security and international processing

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including encrypted transport, session protections, access controls, and encryption of stored provider credentials. No service can guarantee absolute security. Larity and its providers may process information outside your province, state, or country.

Children

Larity is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes and contact

We may update this policy as Larity changes. Material updates will be posted here with a new effective date. For privacy questions or requests, contact justin [dot] tovich [at] gmail [dot] com.
